When I first came – among you – you welcomed me When I am – hungry – you give me food
When I am thirsty – you give me to drink When I knock – you welcome me to your homes you – give smiles and encouragement.
You are indeed My Mary, My Mother, My Father, My brothers and sisters, My friends. Parishioners of St. Mary’s Cathedral you are truly a family of God’s people.
Within this short time of my stay with you, I cannot just stop but continue to appreciate your love and kindness, your spirit to remain faithful and dedicated to God through his son Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Sacraments and the Eucharist and as a community.
I am really very happy to be working with in the Cathedral of Sale. I wish to officially inform you of my holiday trip to my country Nigeria to see my family. I shall be back home (Australia) in the month of October (five weeks holidays). I shall miss your company these few weeks. I shall keep praying for you during my holidays.
To all fathers/grand fathers, best of wishes to you all as you celebrate FATHER’S DAY. May St. Joseph intercede for you all. Amen
Like St. Paul I say: May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ bless you and enlighten the eyes of our hearts in love and charity that we might continue to know what is the hope to which he has called us all. Thanks and God bless.
